Habitat Niagara ReStores celebrate customer appreciation days.

NIAGARA REGION, ON  Habitat for Humanity Niagara ReStores are saying a big “thank you” to its valued customers with a special three-day Customer Appreciation Days event running Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 13 at all Niagara ReStore locations in Fonthill, Grimsby and St. Catharines.

To show appreciation for the community’s ongoing support, shoppers will receive 30 percent off their entire purchase throughout the three-day event. Customers are also invited to enjoy a free community hot dog barbecue on Saturday, June 13 at participating ReStore locations.

The celebration comes as Habitat Niagara’s ReStores continue to expand their service to customers with recently extended operating hours. ReStores are now open until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

“Customer Appreciation Days are our way of saying thank you to the thousands of shoppers, donors and supporters who choose to support Habitat Niagara ReStores every year,” said Al Rolleman, Operations Director, Habitat for Humanity Niagara. “Every purchase made at a ReStore helps keep quality items out of landfill while generating funding that directly supports Habitat Niagara’s affordable housing projects here in Niagara. We are incredibly grateful for the community’s continued support and look forward to welcoming both new and returning customers during this special event.”

By shopping at the ReStore, customers save money, keep usable materials out of landfills and help support Habitat for Humanity Niagara’s mission of building affordable homes for local families in the region.

Habitat Niagara is currently completing construction on six new townhomes in Welland, with an additional three units scheduled to begin later this year. The organization is inviting local businesses, community groups and individuals to join them on the build site through its Habitat Build Day program or by contributing cash donations, building materials or skilled trades labour.
