Build days are Habitat Niagara’s largest fundraiser, bringing together friends, neighbours, and colleagues to unite and make a difference.
By sponsoring or raising funds for a build day, you support the critical need for affordable housing in Niagara.
No experience needed, whether you’re new to construction or a seasoned pro, your build day team will make a meaningful impact.
Corporate Sponsored Build Day
A corporate-sponsored build day turns your company’s values into real, visible action.
This hands-on experience is a meaningful way to advance your ESG and community impact goals.
Your participation boosts employee pride, purpose, and team bonds.
Pricing is all-inclusive and designed to scale with your team:
- $3,600 for 6 participants
- $4,800 for 8 participants
- $6,000 for 10 participants
Your team’s build day includes:
- Safety training – Pre-build day safety video and on-site training
- Safety equipment – Hard hats, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and safety glasses are included
- Lunch – Provided by a local restaurant
- Branded T-shirts – To keep as a lasting reminder of your impact
- Photos and videos – Capturing your team in action
Community Powered Build Day
A community-powered build day brings people together around a shared goal: building affordable homes for families in need. Ideal for Rotary clubs, churches, book clubs, and community-minded groups.
Your group fundraises to support the build, with flexible team options available:
- $3,600 for 6 participants
- $4,800 for 8 participants
- $6,000 for 10 participants
The day is fully guided and all-inclusive:
- Safety training – Pre-build-day safety video and on-site training
- Safety equipment – Hard hats, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and safety glasses are included
- Lunch – Provided by a local restaurant
- Branded T-shirts – As a keepsake
- Photos and videos – Capture your team in action to share your impact
Women Build Day
A Women’s Build Day offers a unique opportunity to come together, learn a new skill, and build something meaningful alongside other amazing women!
Community-funded or fully sponsored, the day is designed to be accessible and flexible:
- $3,600 for 6 participants
- $4,800 for 8 participants
- $6,000 for 10 participants
Everything is taken care of, the day is fully guided and all-inclusive:
- Safety training – Pre-build-day safety video and on-site training
- Safety equipment – Hard hats, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and safety glasses are included
- Lunch – Provided by a local restaurant
- Branded T-shirts – To remember your women build day

Payment Options
Corporate-Sponsored Build Day - Payment
Once your build day is confirmed, Habitat Niagara will issue an invoice to your organization or designated team lead. Payment can be made by check or e-transfer.
Habitat Build Day costs $3,600-$6,000 which directly funds Habitat Niagara’s homebuilding program.
All money must be received by Habitat 1 – 2 weeks before your confirmed build day.
Community Fundraised Build Day - Payment
For teams choosing to fundraise, we will set you up with a custom peer-to-peer fundraising page, along with a unique QR code and shareable link. This allows your team to easily collect donations, share your goal across networks, and track progress in real time.
Our team will provide guidance along the way to help you make the most of your outreach and reach your target ahead of your scheduled build day.
