What items can be donated?

All donated items must be clean and in good condition (no rips, tears, stains, etc.). Space in our stores is limited and occasionally we may need to decline an item if the store is at capacity. ReStores reserve the right to decline any item at their discretion.

Appliances
  • All functioning and non-functioning appliances
  • Large appliances – stoves, fridges, freezers, dishwashers, etc.
  • Small appliances – blenders, toaster ovens, fans, etc.
  • Heaters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers
  • Window & portable A/C units
Bathroom
  • Bathroom cabinets
  • Bathtubs – fiberglass only, no damage
  • Medicine cabinets
  • Sinks – drop-in and undermount; no pedestals
  • Toilets – white or off-white, 6 litres or less

The ReStore has several recycling partnerships that help divert millions of pounds of waste away from local landfills each year. These programs also provide financial support to Habitat Niagara.
