Our Fonthill ReStore needed to remove their old customer service desk (that was an old pick-up truck) to make space in the store for a new desk so they contacted Thorold Fire and Emergency Services to see if they could help.
This was the perfect opportunity for the firefighters to use their extrication tools and hone their skills for future emergencies. Typically, the fire department uses these tools about four or five times a year on emergencies, and although they train regularly, this was an opportunity they couldn’t pass up.
“We were very impressed with how fast they performed the job,” said Frank Roperti, Regional ReStore Director.
