Sometimes the best things happen when people come together to share a laugh.
Trevor Cumming is known for his plumbing expertise, but he’s also a comedian extraordinaire who knows how to bring people together for a great cause. During last weekend’s Pour Decisions Comedy Showcase, Trevor organized a special fundraiser in support of Habitat for Humanity Niagara, combining humour and heart in one unforgettable evening.
The show was completely sold out, with a room full of community members ready to enjoy a night of local comedy. Alongside the talented lineup of local comedians, Trevor helped create an atmosphere filled with laughter, connection and generosity.
In addition to the comedians donating from show proceeds, Trevor took a moment before the audience headed home to ask if they would consider contributing to Habitat Niagara’s mission of building safe, affordable housing. The response was incredible. Together, attendees raised $530 in support of Habitat Niagara.
This event is a great example of how creativity and community spirit can make a meaningful difference.
Support like this helps ensure that more families in Niagara have access to safe, affordable places to call home. And thanks to Trevor and friends, we were reminded that sometimes the best way to build hope is with a little humour.
