Grimsby ReStore now open!
After months of construction the Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Grimsby is now open to the public. Located at 185 South Service Road, this is Habitat Niagara’s largest ReStore to date with over 19,000 square feet of space.
This is the third ReStore to Habitat for Humanity Niagara’s repertoire with two other locations in St. Catharines and Fonthill, and it’s the most visible along the QEW corridor – you can’t miss it!
Habitat for Humanity’s ReStores are home renovation outlets and donation centres offering new and gently used building supplies, kitchens, décor, appliances and other such items for a fraction of the retail price – plus you never pay HST.
Proceeds from the ReStores cover Habitat for Humanity Niagara’s administration costs and help fund the homebuilding program. The addition of a third ReStore will add much needed dollars to help build more homes across Niagara allowing Habitat to continue to build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.
Habitat Niagara’s ReStores are open Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and offer many items for the DIYer or people who just want to update their home furnishings for a great price – (and customers will also have a good feeling knowing they are giving back to support families across Niagara).
A Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for Saturday, August 12th at 10:00 am.
