2018 Volunteer Holiday Dinner and Awards Night

The Annual Volunteer Holiday Dinner and Awards Night was held on Dec. 6 at Amici’s Banquet Centre.  Nearly 150 volunteers, staff and guests attended the event which highlighted the 25th anniversary of Habitat Niagara.  Delicious food was served and fun entertainment was provided by Showtime Comedy and Entertainment. Generous donations of winter warmth items were collected and three large boxes of mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and coats were taken to Project Share.

Several volunteers were recognized with a Habitat pin and certificate for their years of service from five to 25 years  including 15 year volunteer Peter McConnell and 25 year volunteer Brenda Desjardins! The star award winners were recognized with a personalized mug, chocolates and a certificate.
